Air Force One touched down July 29th at RDU International amid Fanfare and throngs of excited onlookers.  Spectators watched in awe as our nation’s symbol of democracy approached with its most distinguished passenger onboard. 

Raleigh's Mayer Charles Meeker was on hand to welcome the President as he arrived.

President Barak Obama spoke in two Town Hall Meetings on his new proposed health care plan in Raleigh and in Apex.  Local politicians, business owners, and educators were some of the spectators present as the President delivered his message to the throngs of media gathered.

Several hundred spectators crowded into the observation park at the RDU international airport to see the monstrous aircraft and catch a possible glimpse of the President.
