Learn about Zoning, Land Use and Open Space at Cary's Historic Preservation Educational Workshop

Town of Cary citizens are invited to the “Historic Preservation Educational Workshop:  Zoning, Land Use and Open Space - Challenges and Solutions” on Thursday, April 16, 2009, from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. in Cary Town Hall’s Council Chambers, 316 N. Academy St.  Learn successful land use strategies employed in other communities and how Cary can best preserve its historic resources through land use in both the urban and suburban areas of the town.  The meeting marks the second of three educational workshops for the Town’s Historic Preservation Master Plan; a final workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 6 to present the economic benefits of historic preservation.  For more, visit Historic Preservation Master Plan by clicking here or call (919) 469-4082.
