School closings and delays

Wake County Public Schools will be closed on Wednesday, January 21th, due to anticipated hazardous road conditions.

Make-up Days

Make-up days for the January 20 snow day will be:

  • Traditional: Monday, February 16
  • Year-Round: Saturday, January 24
  • Modified: Monday, March 9
  • Wake Early College: Thursday, April 9

Make-up days for the January 21 snow day will be:

  • Traditional: April 6
  • Year-Round: April 4
  • Modified: March 10
  • Wake Early College: May 26
  •  

Board Meeting Rescheduled, Work Session Relocated

The Board of Education meeting for Tuesday, January 20 has been rescheduled for Thursday, January 22, 2009. The work session scheduled for that day has been relocated to 3600 Wake Forest Road. The work session begins at 9 am. The board meeting is scheduled to start at 3 pm, immediately following the work session.
